FWS Group developed a high-capacity Single Species Feed Mill, tailored to meet the needs of large-scale feed production. This facility focuses on efficiency, automation, and adherence to safety standards, ensuring optimal performance and quality control.

The scope of work for the Single Species Feed Mill project included the following key features:

• Annual Production Capacity: The feed mill is designed to produce 225,000 tonnes of feed annually. This high production capacity supports significant feed requirements for single species, catering to large-scale agricultural operations.
• Truck Receiving and Weighing System: The facility includes a truck receiving system complete with a platform scale for accurate measurement of incoming feed ingredients. Additionally, a mobile, automated weigh lorry load-out system streamlines the loading process, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual handling.
• Warehouse: An attached warehouse with a combined area of 9,600 square feet is included in the facility. This warehouse supports the storage of feed ingredients and finished products, ensuring organized and efficient inventory management.
• Feed Types: The mill produces bulk feeds in both pelleted and mash forms. This versatility allows the facility to cater to different feed requirements and preferences for various single species.
• Automated Control Systems: The facility is equipped with advanced automated control systems to manage and monitor feed production processes. These systems enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in feed manufacturing.
• HACCP Standards: The feed mill is built to HACCP (Hazards Analysis Critical Control Point) standards. This ensures that the facility adheres to rigorous safety and quality control measures, protecting the health and safety of livestock and ensuring product integrity.
