Our procurement department has been integral to our organization for more than 15 years. It was established to support our project teams and ensure efficiency in acquiring goods as well as services essential for project execution. Over the years, this department has become an asset that promotes effective resource management across various projects.

Strategic Purchasing

While each project has unique requirements, our procurement team enables us to source standard items through bulk purchases. This strategy allows us to optimize our purchasing power and ensure a steady supply of materials, contributing to the smooth operation of our projects. Diverse Team Expertise

The procurement department comprises a small but highly skilled team, including Procurement Coordinators, Procurement Contracts Specialists and our transportation division. Our team members come from various backgrounds, such as manufacturing, operations, customer service, law and logistics. Vendor Relationships

A significant portion of our procurement team’s role involves managing vendor subcontracts. We utilize our relationships with vendors to ensure we obtain the necessary products promptly and effectively. Coordinating Transportation

Enhanced Contract Negotiations

The Procurement Contracts Specialist role adds an extra layer of support for our project team. They assist in negotiating terms and conditions with vendors and securing mutually satisfactory contract agreements. This support enhances our ability to attain favourable terms, benefiting FWS and our vendors.
