Technologies and Innovations

The project incorporated advanced storage and conveying systems to achieve its goals:

  • Two New Hopper Bins: Each bin, measuring 20’-11” in diameter, added a total of 805 metric tonnes (MT) of capacity. The design optimized storage for free-flowing grains with a density of 48 lbs per cubic foot.
  • L-Shaped Reclaim Conveyors: Installed to transfer grain efficiently from the new bins, the conveyors streamline grain movement, reducing handling delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Design-Build Delivery: The integrated design and construction approach ensured seamless project execution, accelerating delivery timelines while maintaining quality standards.
