To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a QA Field Coordinator in Memphis, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

Assists the Site Project Consultant Manager (PCM) to ensure the owner’s interests are represented. Understand contractors’ scope of work and ensure the requirements of the drawings, specifications, and applicable codes at met.

Position Overview:

• Ensure the quality requirements of FWS and the client are understood by the construction team and are being delivered.
  • Review and understand the project quality plans, specifications, drawings, and each contractor’s scope etc.
  • Make amendments as required to the Project Specific Quality Plan and site quality documentation.
• Ensure the owner’s interests are represented:
  • Verify that contractors follow their ITP’s and are signing ITP’s where appropriate.
• Provide technical support to Site Superintendents and the Project Management Team.
  • Participate in site meetings and project planning sessions as required and offer expertise.
  • Maintain current site drawings and specifications.
  • Plans and coordinates daily Quality Assurance/Quality Coordinator (QA/QC) activities with construction activities and other duties as directed by the Project Consultant Manager or QA/QC management.

Qualifications Needed:

• Diploma in Engineering technology, or relevant qualifications and experience
• Piping & Structural Steel construction quality assurance experience, in a construction management environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic environment.
• This position is field based and located on an industrial work site in the Memphis area.
• This is rotation work 3wks on, 1wk off.
• Night shift work on a construction site required very occasionally.
• Must be fit for work, in good health, may be required to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
