As our Construction Receiving Coordinator, you will be working together with the Site Manager and other participants on the Project Team(s), will be responsible for project management functions.
Position Overview:
- Responsible for the accurate receiving and quality checks of incoming inventory.
- Assist with / ensure inventory is properly being stored and protected.
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly inventory pictures.
- Establish and maintain material receiving system. Maintaining the product and location integrity.
- Be responsible for detailed accurate handoff of materials and equipment to third party subtrades and FWS crews.
- Complete material transfer records for outgoing product.
- Maintain laydown area and organizational maps.
- Maintain incoming delivery schedule and elevate shortfalls.
- Follow FWS Quality Management Procedures.
- Assist as a spotter when needed.
- Other duties as directed by the site management team.
Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma / GED, or relevant qualifications and experience.
- Previous construction experience and general knowledge of construction materials.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Autodesk / Autodesk Construction cloud is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications from multiple discipline’s is considered an asset.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance capacity is considered an asset.
Other Information
- This position is field based and located on an industrial work site in the Memphis area.
- Rotation work to be determined on a case-by-case basis. May consist of 3 weeks on/ 1 week off.
- Rough terrain forklift and skids steer operator tickets would be an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to handle packages / materials up to 50lb. weight, unassisted.
- This position will ultimately report to the QA / QC Field Lead, however daily direction will come from the Site Project Construction Manager.
- This is a full-time term position for the duration of the project but may lead to full time career employment
