Dan Lenters , CRSP
Director, Health, Safety and Environment
Dan has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry. He began initially as an Apprentice Carpenter, became a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, before beginning a career in Occupational Safety Management. Dan completed formal training in safety at the University of Alberta, achieving his diploma in Occupational Safety Management. He then furthered his qualifications by achieving Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) status in 1994.
Dan has served on the Board of Directors of the Alberta Construction Safety Association, and is currently a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and the Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. Dan owned and operated his own consulting practice for 10 years, while having also enjoyed a successful career in safety management positions. Dan joined FWS in 2003, and has been instrumental in the development of the corporate safety culture that permeates the organization today.
